What is really the problem in the Calvinist and Reformed Camp?

In the hope that I will gain something meaningful from this Blog? My desire is to engage the grass root believers in the doctrine of Calvinism?

I would like to hear some clear explanations as to why so many individuals, who claim to have this "absolutely and only correct doctrine" i.e. Calvinism; presently being re-branded as Reformed Doctrine, and as I hear it "Calvinism-is-Christianity"; Are often so inconsistent with the Christ like life I read about in scripture.

By this, I mean to say that among the Calvinist and Reformed Christians, I have consistently experienced, racist attitudes, and extraordinary hypocrisy, and by this I mean, I hear the talk; but I do not see the walk! For example, the charge of just down-right meanness is so common!

Moreover, I have found many Web sites and postings that are well adept at attacking anyone that is not absolutely “precise” in every word and thought, i.e. Calvin-speak!

So if your not "just like them", you will be subject not only to questions about your doctrine, but your very salvation is brought into question. Its sounds so much like the Pharisees of Jesus day, its uncanny!

Yet, what is interesting, these Web sites often have blatant misquotes, and paraphrases that misrepresent the works of others, half truths, statements out of context. Which is a mark of dishonesty, they act as if honesty is not important to Christ-likeness. How about downright false academic scholarship, some of these folks masquerade as biblical authorities, having often questionable credentials, and experience.

Sometimes I'm blow away at the rhetoric. Speak that I do not find articulated by the champions of their doctrine!

I have never heard Dr. Wayne Grudem or Dr. R.C Sproul say the things that come out of the mouth of so called Calvinist pundits.

For example, recently I was told by one individual, don;t read Dr. Norm Geisler, his books are crap? Or that J.P Moreland is a heretical mystic? Are you serious?

I cannot help but wonder, if this doctrine is so true, then why is the fruit often so very rotten?

Really, I am regularly astounded of how malevolent so many of these folks can be! Sometimes, I really hear in their proclamations, the idea! Finally Jesus, "we have now corrected your work"

I will ask you, help me understand please! If right doctrine produces right behavior? Then - What is really the problem in the Calvinist and Reformed Camp?
